Career in CA is always first choice of the commerce students. CA as a career is the highly respected and prestigious career option. CA have a great scope and demand in the world. A certified can make their career in the country or in the foreign country. CA is the highly paid profession in the world .

To take an admission for CA course a student of 12th can take an admission for CA course by doing the registeration with the ICAI institute. A student who has completed Graduation from Commerce or from any other stream and who wishes to take an admission for the CA course was also supposed to go through the same process like a student going after 12th i.e a graduate student was also supposed to give a CPT exam which was a qualifying nature of exam for 12th student.

But from August 2012 ICAI has made some changes with regards to the entry of the Graduate Students in the CA course. A Graduate student who wish to take an admission for CA course can take an admission through the Direct Entry Scheme for the CA Intermediate Course under this scheme a student from the commerce field need to score at least 55% marks in the Graduation and should have studied any 3 subjects Accounting,Auditing,Taxation,Management Accounting, Business Administration of 100 marks each. A student can take an admission if he meets the above criteria. The further procedure is same as of the procedure of CA after 12th.

While a student form the other faculty need to have 60% of marks in the Graduation.
