Dear Aspirant,
Having leadership skills without experience does not have value.
It is really nice to see that you are thinking about your career and also analysing within you what you have in you. Now you need to also become aware of the practical and industrial world which requires skills and not just qualifications.
Pursuing Mechanical Engineering is wise decision and that should be your first priority and focus area. MBA is not always required for everybody. If you do MBA immediately after Engineering, the jobs you will be offered then may not be engineering related and therefore then what is the use of doing engineering at the first place?
You can definitely think of MBA only when you get a good job in the engineering field and gain atleast 3-5 years of work experience. Experience plus management knowledge is the most recommended.
Best wishes
