Dear Derric,
"THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF ANYTHING YOU WANT"
You are a fresher and you have to work hard to climb the ladder
Don't get upset on things that are not happening the way you want.
Have a dream and chase it.
Fill your mind with the joy of achieving a dream joy.
If you are looking for instant gratification then you can join the family business and use technology to help them take the business to new heights
If you have perseverance then you can hunt for jobs, attend walk in interviews, polish yourself and your skills, attend job fairs, there is a lot you can do.
You can even work part time with your family and simultaneously work towards your goal
Now whether it is programming you are looking for, is completely up to you.
You need to introspect whether programming interests you or not?
If yes, then to what extent does it interests you.
As Winston Churchill rightly said "SUCCESS CONSISTS OF GOING FROM FAILURE TO FAILURE WITHOUT LOOSING ENTHUSIASM"
Hope this helps
Happy career planning

Career Planner
Hello dear,
I can understand how frustrating it is when you have the right qualification but still unable to find a job. Only thing I can say now is try and do not leave hope.
Check your Resume, whether it is attractive and highlights your strengths which the employers are looking out for. Prepare yourself well before you go for an interview revising your capacities and performances and projects succesfully undertaken during your study. Stress on how you could be an asset to the organization.
Please note that since you have not been selected through campus placement, employers may exploit the situation. They may not offer you either the position or salary you looking out for or both. At this juncture do not be choosy as experience is what matters. Get a job, an experience and then hunt for a job as per your calibre.
Try searching through references. Friends who are working etc.
Join your own business as it will keep your frustration away and help you in the interview. Because you could implement some strategy in the business which could be a winning point for you.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck..
Dear Aspirant,
I can understand your disappointment that you could not get through the on-campus as well as off-campus placements opportunities. Here I would strongly suggest you to analyse why you didn't get through? Get to know from those who got selected how they got selected and how they prepared for that? Knowing this is very important for you on the basis of which you can improvise.
Since you have passed this year, you will have to keep some patience as well perseverance. Do not stop trying!
Get in touch with your friends, relatives who can refer you in the companies they are working may be.
Send your well prepared and highlighted resume to private job consultants and upload the same on job portals like Naurki.com and Monsterindia.com
Joining your family business till you get a job is recommended.
Best wishes
