As a biologist one has to understand that you are understanding the natural course of action, understanding nature which is hidden, exposed, embedded and you are there to estimate the behavior with your wisdom and rich academic skill.

As far as day to day life discussion is concerned many examples you have to consider and then see the diversification in the life of biological scientist:

1. Being a research scientist: experimental design and its process need your continuous presence with all the senses, not only your attentiveness rather you have to be excellent observer i due course of entire experimentation.

Being a plant biologist as extension scientist: you need to go for long long excursion and field survey, to the maximum extent you have to revolve around the goal what you are meant for and this is the daya to day life devotion where your personal assignment is least important till accomplishment of the research assignment.

As we know biologist is the student of entire living beings on the different planet, accordingly you subject yourself into the character and then ask the questions and solve it with the available surroundings better to visit the kind of biological research station which appeals your career and interest. Like Indian Space Organization-ISRO how they design their milestones of research and then how they develop the strategies to complete the mandate of research and development.

Being a space scientist of course biology is the central gravity of the entire regime wherein multidisciplinary approach is the need. please go and see their life style, no a days strong electronic media, facebook is available to update your knowledge and you can define your interest if it looks fascinating to you.

5. Being a botanist and zoologist you will be discoverer and creative to the basic endeavors not towards your own desire and illusions that is why your day to day life style will be the part of ultimate percussion in real world.Being interested in day to day life and gaining idea for your interest might be useful for you might not be useful which can deviate you from your interest so depending on the day to day life discussion of a biologist should not be the criteria in my opinion because each one has different pattern of style.

Dear Aspirant, the subject 'biology' is very intersting and people in this profession really enjoy this firld. The biologist normally work in two three types of field. This depends upon where a biologist is working. If you are working in government organization (university, college, institutes) then nature of job is different compared to a biologist working in multinational company or private organization.

In government organization specially in college and university, a biologist must keep himself or herself update realted to his oe her subject. For example, you are a botanist, then you have to update about your topics related to plant structures, their presence in your area adjacent to your college or university. If you are microbiologist then you have to keep update yourself about latest informations, if any microbes has been discovered.

Being agricultural biologist, it could be a plant pathologist, nematologist, entomologist. Here a biologist has learn and keep udate about the common diseases (bacterial, fungal, viral) of a particular area. Similarly an entomologist should visit the nearby places to know the types of insects predominat, which could be harmful to crops also. An agronomist should visit the different areas, to know and understand the types of crop grown, their management and weed control.

This was all about the extension activitities or visits to nearby area by a biologist to understand things related to his subject. Moreover, a biologist should update his subject using internet. Regular reading of research journals provides information about development and direction of research of his field.

Routine interaction with students is very important, it is the question of the student which enlightens the thought and not the answer. The question raised by the students really udate the biologist.

In private sector their is more research and development aspects. One has to understand daily that what things are going right to keep the project on right track. If something going wrong and desired results are not cominmg then one has to check and analyse the routine process.

The regular meetings with colleagues and seniors also keeps a biologist update on day today basis. In these meetings what to do and what no to be repeat are usually discussed.
