The working conditions and working hours of the biologists are usually comfortable and are not odd. Below is the information provide to help you understand the working hours and timing of the biologists.

1. The biologists are usually required to work during the day hours. This is due to the fact that they are not working for the clients sitting in some other country and therefore they do not need to be working during the night shifts. However if a certain experiments requires them to only work at night, then they do have to work in the night also.

2. The working hours of the biologists are usually eight hours, and they work for six days a week. In some cases they can also work for five days in the week. In case they are working in the academic world then the working hours are even lesser. This is because the academic institutions require them to work for only certain time. However if they want to conduct their own research or go for additional preparation for the lectures, they will have to work for the extra hours which will not get officially recorded.

3. The biologists enjoy good work life balance as there are not sharp deadlines and they get ample time to work on the projects that they are engaged in. They also enjoy many vacations. In case they are working with the university they get even more time to work on their own research and time to relax.

4. The biologists are not working all the times as their profile requires them to attend a number of events such as symposiums and other scientific community events or even related to the environment. They get every opportunity to meet the fellow biologists and spend time with them. Also they get enough opportunities to work on their own research projects.

Therefore the biologists enjoy good working hours which are comfortable for them and enable them to contribute to their work in the best way possible.

Hi Dear Friend

A biologist must be working in a healthy atmosphere it is universal truth. Now one has to define what is the pace and work efficiency for a biologist. Biology is a natural phenomenon and one has to set goal to follow nature in the natural terms and conditions. For example you are working with cancer problem and you have to collect samples day night not as per your comfortability rather you need to understand the qualitative and quantitative approach of your set experimentation therefore biologist run after the meaningful approach rather minding his or her own day to day schedule. If a biologist impose his/her own comfort on experimentation then entire objectivity will be lost. But intelligent researchers know what is the tenttaive requirement of time will be there accordingly they set their routine. Flexibility is very important in all the terms for a biologist if you think your lab is very crowdy or your research station is alwyas full of clients then you find the comfortable timing wheter it is day or night it does not matter. So biological clock is beng set as per the requirement of experimentation and it is not only applicable for a biologist it is common for all professional.

But do understand a biologist work intelligently and follow the natural rhythum to conclude the remarks for future.

If you are a commercial biologist professional then things become more stiffy in the sense of demand and supply. For example a RD company supply insulin and customers do not contact scientists or manufacturers they know the dealers and dealers demand the RD people in year advance so RD Biologists use to have brain storming session about the requirement and post the assignments to scientists and technicians to achieve it within stipulated time of frame.

Why I have narrated all these common and lay men examples becoz one need to understand about biologist and its responsibilites towards the society. How a biologist has to make balance between scientific logistics and social needs.

Hope it will escite you to know more about a scientist.

Best
