Computer engineers are responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and testing computer based hardware and software, including the componenets that are found inside computer equipments, as well as actual devices thet contains the computers. and the softwares hat runs on those machines. They may also design network that connects computer systems, and work on integrating software programs with computer hardware.


Education Requirements:
To become computer engineer, you will typically require a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.


Required Technicals Skills or Responsibilities:
Since the computer engineering field is quite broad, the require technical skills listed in the job posting you may come across will vary, depending on whether the job is more hardware or softare focused, and which industry the employer belongs to. Typiclly you will need to have the followings:

1. An understanding of the particular computer hardware architecture you will be working with.
2. Experience designing, coding and testing softwares
3. Familiarity with software test procedures and scripts
4. Eperience building your own Pc systems
5. Understanding of the different operating systems, including Windows or Linux, and how certain types of software will work with them.
6. Experience with DeviceDrivers
7. Understanding of the Networking and Security
8. Understanding of the (somtimes specialized) software that is typically used in the particular industry
9. Knowledge of the programming languages such as C, C++, Java and other object-oriented languages.

Computer engineers usually use computer-assisted software engineering, or CASE, tools to automate the process. They also test, debug and update programs.


Other Crucial Skills:
Since computer engineers work closely with programmers, designers, product developers and testers, they really need to have strong Interpersonal and Communications skills as well as ability to work in a team.
