GP rating is General Purpose Rating and hopefuls who join merchant naval force in the GP rating are enlisted as deck crew or engine crew
To be qualified for the GP rating, you will need to experience a pre-sea preparing for a time of 3-6 months.
To be qualified for it, you more likely than not passed tenth exam with at least 40% with Maths and Science as real subjects alongside English in which you more likely than not scored 40%.
The possible age to apply for the course is 17 1/2 years-25 years.
The courses in months are as follows
4 for GP rating.3 for Deck crew.3 for Engine crew.4 for Saloon rating.
