Plenty of options to choose from. But the question here is how do you choose?
As a Counselor I would suggest, do not choose on the basis of percentage or friends or family or the most well known stream. This is an important decision, as it will decide your future.
Thus choose on the basis of your likes, interest and aptitude.
You could take help of the Aptitude test or Career counseling tests, that would highlight your areas of strength, your abilities and Aptitude and help you make a choice.
Though I am listing down few options a student has post 10th, please note the list is not for you to make a choice. Choose on the basis of the suggestion given above
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
There can be a number of options after 10th, you just have to make up your mind what you intend to do. It's up to your area of interest as well as your performance in tenth standard which may make you eligible for various study programs, like Commerce, science, Arts, Fine Arts, Vocational, ITI, Flight steward/air-hostess etc. Thus, it is a matter of your personal choice what you want to be and that way make a choice of any one of these study programs. You may consider one of the reputed institutions to pursue your degree after completion of 10+2. These are - Christ University, Bangalore,...............
Firstly it is required for you to choose a stream from Science, Commerce and Arts (Humanities) after your 10th. Once you select a stream, then in that stream there are plenty of career options you can choose from.
Every stream has great potential, history and options. Therefore it is very important to choose the stream correctly and not just based on your 10th marks / percentage. You should select the stream based on your marks, interests, aptitude.
For this you should know all the above three perfectly. I feel instead of choosing randomly, please take the Stream Selector Test from careerguide.com. This is a psychometric test which will assess your potential, aptitude, passion, interests. The report gets generated instantly and will tell you your suitable stream which you should select.
I am glad that you have asked this question on the portal. There are three major streams namely science, commerce and arts and many diploma courses that can be pursue after tenth standard. You must spend good time for thinking and discuss it with your parents and teachers as your career path depends on the options that can be pursued through the stream.
The best way to select a stream is to go for a psychometric test. Careerguide offers such tests on the portal. You can also try another method. Note down your interests as well as dislikes on a page and think where you would like to see yourself in next few years. Think about the job or business you would like to do. Would you like to do a desk job or a job that involves travelling o different places; would like a profile that includes team work and communicating with people or a research oriented task?
You will enjoy your job once you choose the stream you like.
All the best
