Hi

Greetings of the day !!!!

I think the question you are asking can be interpreted by two ways, There are NITs which are National Institute of Technology and are government colleges. The Other is a College under NIIT university in Rajasthan.

Since there is confusion i would explain the process to you. For both the colleges or any other good colleges in India you should have following things done at your end.

1) You should be in Class XII or should have passed class XII one year back

2) You should have taken PCM as a subject choice in Class XI & XII

3) Should have got a good Score in Class XII boards

4) Should have taken JEE Mains ( Earlier Called as AIEEE) as you entrance Exam.

If you have done all the above things and want to get in to NIT you have to apply for Central Counselling Conducted by CBSE and apply for colleges based on your Score in JEE and Noramlised Rank in JEE.

For NIIT University : you should fill up the form seprately and Submit you JEE score or any other exam score based on the Cutoff in the particular year you would get the call for Admission.

Its very difficult for any one to judge cut off since score changes every year based on the level of difficulty of the paper. Its a relative exam

I hope your query has been resolved

In case of any other question kindly write in detail.

Wish you all the best...
