Bachelor of Computer Applications

Chartered Accountant (CA)

CA is considered the toughest professional course in India. The students need to have a minimum of 50% in their class 12 to register for CA. Students also need to alternatively opt for a UG degree along with clearing the CA exams. Aspirants need to register themselves with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and then have to appear for different levels of the CA exam. The minimum time required for an individual to complete their CA is about 5 years. There are 3 different levels of exams, starting with the Foundation paper consisting of 4 subjects, next is Intermediate paper comprises 8 subjects and the final paper which also consists of 8 subjects. All CA candidates need to finish a mandatory 3 years of in-office internship after passing the intermediate level to gain real-time exposure.

Company Secretary (CS)

CS is a similar program to CA but a CS deals with legal aspects of a firm and is inclined towards corporate law. The eligibility criterion and the procedure to register for remains the same as that of CA. Even CS has 3 different levels i.e., CS Executive Entrance, Executive Program and Professional Program. CS candidates need to complete a mandatory internship of 2 years once the executive program is cleared.


Bachelor of Laws

Post completion of your class 12 exams, LLB is considered as one of the options that offer good scope for commerce graduates. It is a three-year-long degree that is closely supervised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). There are plenty of colleges in India that offer an LLB degree and most of them admit students based on the CLAT scores. There is a few integrated course like BCom+LLB and BBA+LLB offering a varied scope.

Bachelor of Economics

Economics is probably one of the best subjects to opt for and build a career in it. Students can opt for BSc Economics (Math is compulsory) or a BA Economics program.
