CISCE Board Admission Process

  1. Notification and Availability of Application Forms: CISCE-affiliated schools usually release admission notifications for various classes, including Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC), at specific times of the year. They make the application forms available either online or at the school’s admission office.
  2. Filling of Application Forms: Parents or guardians seeking admission for their child must fill out the application form with all the required information, which may include the student’s personal details, previous academic records, and other relevant information.
  3. Submission of Documents: Along with the completed application form, parents/guardians are generally required to submit certain documents, such as: Birth certificate or proof of age. Transfer certificate (if applicable) from the previous school. Previous academic records or report cards, Passport-sized photographs of the student, Any other documents requested by the school
  4. Entrance Test (if applicable): Some schools conduct entrance tests for admission to certain classes, especially for Class 11 (ISC). These tests assess the student’s knowledge and understanding of the subjects they wish to study in Class 11.
  5. Interaction or Interview (if applicable): In some cases, schools may conduct an interaction or interview with the student and parents/guardians to understand their interests, aspirations, and to assess the suitability of the student for the school’s environment.
  6. Merit and Seat Allotment: Based on the entrance test (if applicable), previous academic performance, and other criteria set by the school, the admission committee determines the merit list and allocates seats to the selected students
