The late Chandra Bhanu Gupta, the then-chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, founded the National Post Graduate College in 1974. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the disciplines of arts, commerce, and computer science as well as undergraduate courses in these streams. Under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, which was established with a special grant from the UGC, National Post Graduate College (NPGC) also provides undergraduate and graduate programs for skill development.
Six programs are available through Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra: two community college programs lasting a year, two ICT, ITES, and banking, insurance, and financial services degree programs, and two post-graduate programs. Merit- and entrance-based admission criteria are used for NPGC. Both the offline and online application modes exist.
Vision
The motto of the college is maritum ethicus i.e. merit with ethics. Social, regional, territorial, geographical, racial and cultural boundaries no longer hold relevance in the present scenario. Admission Process
The entrance exam, known as the LUACMAT, and personal interviews and counseling sessions held at the Institute determine who gets into the college. College admission is done offline.
How to Apply ?
- Candidates seeking admission in undergraduate programs must register themselves for LUACMAT conducted by the Institute through their respective official website. For admission 2023 .
- Applicants then have to fill their application forms with their personal and academic information.
- The hard copy has to be sent via post or in person along with the admission fees.
- If the applicant (who are UG courses) is shortlisted for the further process, they have to sit for a personal interview/counselling.
- For confirmation of admission, students will be issued their offer letters, after which they are required to pay the required admission fees to secure their seats.
