Eligibility Criteria

The BHU Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria for 2023 is as follows:

Undergraduate Programs

  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the Class 12 examination.
  • There is no age limit for the undergraduate programs.

Postgraduate Programs

  • Candidates must have passed the relevant undergraduate degree examination from a recognized university.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the undergraduate degree examination.
  • The age limit for the postgraduate programs is 35 years as on July 1, 2023.

Relaxation in Eligibility Criteria

There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).

Additional Eligibility Criteria for Some Programs

Some of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at BHU have additional eligibility criteria. For example, candidates applying for admission to the MBBS program must have passed the Class 12 examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Application Process

The BHU Entrance Exam application process can be completed online on the BHU website. The steps involved in the application process are as follows:
