The INI CET exam is a national level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate (PG) medical courses offered by the Institutes of National Importance (INIs). The exam is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Overview
The INI CET exam is open to all Indian nationals who have passed the MBBS/BDS degree from a recognized university or institution. Candidates must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Education: The candidate must possess a MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt.
- Internship: The candidate must have completed a one-year rotatory internship and have a completion certificate.
- Minimum aggregate marks:
- General/OBC/EWS category: 55%
- SC/ST category: 50%
- The candidate must have a MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India or a foreign medical school that is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- The candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 55% in the MBBS degree.
- The candidate must have obtained a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Application Process
- Basic Registration. Visit the official website of AIIMS, Delhi exams and click on the link for INI CET. Read the instructions carefully and click on the “Basic Registration” link. Fill in the required information and upload your photograph and signature. Generate your Registration ID and Password.
- Generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC). Log in to the website using your Registration ID and Password. Click on the “Generate EUC” link and select the course you want to apply for. Your EUC will be generated.
- Final Registration. Log in to the website using your Registration ID, EUC, and Password. Fill in the details of your academic qualifications, internship, and payment. Select the exam centre and pay the application fee.
- You can only apply for one course in the same application.
- You can change your exam centre after the final registration, but there will be a change in the application fee.
- You can download your application form after the final registration.
