Courtesy- The basic manners taught to us of using a tissue and turning away while sneezing and not doing it on another student makes us polite and more well-behaved in our day-to-day cycle. Besides this, usage of appropriate language is what we have always been taught which helps us communicating to others in any field.
These little efforts to teach a child from the beginning helps us in holding good etiquettes for a longer run such as choosing our words wisely before speaking and not rushing to comment about things we don’t know much about, not speaking loudly as we would be considered as a ‘big mouth’ who cannot be trusted with anything confidential, usage of gratuitous terms such as ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’, holding a door for anyone following us closely without any strict gender rules in this day and age.
Thus, classroom manners rooted in a child from the initial stages of learning helps him/her to make a good impression on others in everyday life. No matter where we are, at home, with friends, at a workplace, practicing good manners is important as it helps to show them that we are considerate and respectful towards their feeling and encourage them to treat us with similar respect.
