Pilot is one of the career field of which many students aspires of becoming a pilot since their childhood. Pilot as a career has always fascinated. One can become a Pilot after 12th in the Indian Air Force or can also become a private Pilot also.

In terms of professional qualifications, I am sure you are aware that there are training's that every aspiring Pilot needs to undergo.
In brief, after 12th science, mainly Physics and Maths, you would have to clear the following levels.
The Pilot training is divided into 3 main areas:
**Student Pilot Licence ( SPL):** The minimum requirement apart from 10th class and Math and physics knowledge, is that the candidate needs to be atleast 16 years of age. Also one needs to clear the medical fitness tests and tests related to Air control and other regulations.

To tell you the exact course would be difficult, mainly because different training Institutes charge you differently.
But as an approximate the costs range anywhere between 20 to 25 lac.
The [Commercial pilot course][1] is generally a 1 year course, which includes the flying hours, which includes both solo and a trained assistant with you.
The [student has to pass in the following subjects][2]:
1. Air Regulation.
2. Air Navigation
3. Aviation Meteorology
4. Aircraft & Engines (General & Specific)
