Speaking about teaching as a profession it is a noble profession, respected all over. It does not vary from state to state. Only guideline would be a little here and there but nothing major.
I would suggest you to visit Haryana and meet few teachers and get an opinion. Since being in another state one cannot and should not predict the status of other states. And another possibility is reading online.
