Hello Dev,  Interesting career choice. MSW is a masters level course, a 2 years program. Mainly pursued by a sociology or BSW or psychology graduate. Admission is purely based on entrance exam. If you are interested in the actual social work, then MSWis your field. You would mainly be involved in the microlevel functioning. In short you would work directly with the people who face an issue.  Issues mainly dealt with includes hygeine, education, lifestyle, women empowerment, employment, addiction etc.  You would mainly be addressed as a community worker or counselor.
