Dear Aspirant,

Highly impressed by your current position in job. You are perfectly on the right track of career and thinking.

Please continue with the job and devote 100% to learning skills and people management. Doing an MBA from distance mode is a very good decision and that too in Operations Research.

You will be definitely able to enhance your career year after year by:

  1. Sticking to the job
  2. Learning as many things in technical domain
  3. Read business news and increase business awareness.
  4. Work on building professional relationships in and out side office (offline and online)
  5. Going out of the way in the office to complete tasks and get results as desired by your supervisors
  6. Study MBA and enhance theoretical knowledge which is also very important.

Since you are into the QA department, later you should aim for getting Six Sigma certification and ISO certifications, which are major career requirements in your domain area.

The above can be definitely done with discipline and dedication, which I feel you have plenty of in you.

Best wishes

Dear Aspirant,

I am very happy that you liked by views and will be following them.

Don't worry. Growth comes gradually. Manufacturing has growth and shall pick up soon in the economy.

Good to know that you are keen to develop skills. Skills you can develop are:
English language proficiency, team dynamics, etiquette, etc.

Time for shifting job should be after you achieve some certification in Six Sigma. May be after 3-4 years of work experience, you may think for shifting. But remember, that this shifting should be based on your growth potential only rather than just salary. Salary comes and increases if you have increased your skills.

Best wishes
