Hello Aksshat,

Interesting question,

Every organisation you see has the opportunity for an HR. But please note getting an HR generalist profile would need a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field itself.

Initially a fresher joins the HR team as a recruiter, whereby his role would be to search for the right candidate for the position. So he would formulate the job description and post it on various job portals like naukri, monster etc. He would then shortlist the candidates, and may be conduct the first round of interview which is telephonic.

The next level, is a part of recruitment, whereby he conducts a face to face interview with the candidate.

The next level now completely depends on the liking and interest of the candidate. It includes, not necessarily in the order mentioned

  • Testing round for the candidate interviewed
  • Performance Appraisal
  • Compensation management

Lastly comes the Training and development, which is after years and years of experience.

Hope this clears your doubt.

Wish you good luck...
