A very interesting question, and I am sure you know the answer yourself too.

But still.

Passion is very important aspect of ones life that keeps an individual unique and lively.
It is something that helps us during the time we feel down and helps us to move on.

Sometimes Passion can be followed as a carer, sometimes as a hobby.

In your case, your passion for cricket, at this juncture, as you are 20 years old, seems a little difficult.

Since Sports is a carer, one needs to pursue at a very young age. And till your age, must have already been playing at the National or state level.
At this juncture, getting into the team, would be a little difficult, as there are youngsters who have already played matches for the state level.

But as i said Passion keeps one alive.
Make it a point to continue with the cricket coaching. Join a club, play matches for the club.
So apart from work life, you would have another goal too.

This way, you would be enthusiastic for the work you do as an engineer, as well as live your passion.

Hi Prateek,

What I meant by saying that you can play cricket and work as well means, that you cannot be playing at an international level like the BCCI level.

Since it is your passion, I am asking you to continue it as a means of recreation and a form of relaxation.
There are clubs that you can join and they organize matches during weekends and during festivals which you can participate.
But you can be regularly playing cricket in the club, just like people gym regularly after working hours.

Goregaon Sports club

Glad to know your interests in sports and also happy that you are doing formal education.

If you truely believe in Cricket, then I think you should join a formal coaching camp and master the sport. There are no formal courses for learning cricket and therefore you need join a Cricket Gymkhana and ensure that your passion gets noticed by the Coach.

Your coach will be the best person on the field, who can tell you whether you have it in you.
