Hi Ayush,It is absolutely correct that one need not undergo training for CS but then there are its own disadvantages. One will be called a LCS i.e. Licentiate Company Secretary though one can get register to ICSI but cannot work as a CS in a company nor can he give report or certificate like compliance, annual report signing, annual ROC forms certification, etc...
So there are drawbacks for not undergoing a training session. Hence I would say that if you want to become a CS then you should take the training.Best Wishes!Happy Diwali!
