Hi Aurobindo, suggest you to do some certification refresher course in IT - for 6 months/1 Year and then apply for a job in the companies. Else if you are good and confident with any of the skills like - HTML/Web Design/PHP you can go ahead for applying for job without doing a refresher course.
If you apply for these designation should be easy to get interview calls.

Also, getting job will also depend on how you write your resume and perform in interview.
Hi Aurobinda,
Not to discourage you, but the fact remains that the computer world is a volatile world, changes at the blink of an eye.In this fast moving world, 2 years is a big time.
Since you are already working, and as you say it is a college, they would definitely have the computer room, whereby students would be dropping in for their projects and research work.
Why dont you, join that department too???
The benefit of this would be, that with only IT knowledge, you would be able to troubleshoot any kind of technical difficulties faced, as well as upgrade your knowledge of software and its functioning. Also the computer room in-charge would be able to guide you accordingly.
Another reason for me to ask you to join the computer lab, is because its been 2 years and your degree, lacks complete knowledge on Software.
To get a job in a software deportment in any organization, you need to have a degree related to software like an MCA.Not that I am saying, do not pursue an MCA or diploma certificates in Software which range from 6 months to 1 year.Though degree is important, but more important is practical experience. Also getting a job these days is slightly difficult.
So best would be to join the computer department, whereby you focus on both technical and Software too, and at the same time, you can opt for either MCA part-time course or diploma programs from private institutes.
Though every company to make their website takes help of the software programmer. But every company would have an IT department, and would be facing technical difficulties, whereby requiring help of an IT professional. So look out for opportunity whereby you touch base on both the areas hardware and Software.
Wish you all the very best............
