I liked your career option, but in a way they are different from each other. Actually, you can also do Journalism and select Food industry for journalism. However, I would suggest that doing a Journalism course would be best to start with.
After 12th, you can opt for B.Journalism course from a recognised Institute affiliated to a recognised University.
Food critic is a good side option for career, however there are no courses to learn that.
