Why MBA in Finance after engineering
Hi There,
Interesting question and Why MBA in Finance after engineering I am sure the answer is known to you too.
The combination is very good in the modern period of time because you can go for the fintech world jobs and scope of fintech world in today's time is more than of anything .
The reason I say that is, because, before you choose a specialization especially at the masters level, there is a lot of thinking that goes along with it. It is not just a pick and go along kind of a situation.
Since you are an engineer, which is a technical field and Finance which is more related to dealing with resources, you need to be ale to link the two well. Not just abruptly.
Both the fields require a lot of logic and process involvements.So may be that can be one reason you wish to link the two.
As such, before you opt for an MBA program, best would be to work in the financial sector and gain experience, that you can point out as the reason you wish to opt for the specialization.When you know about the work, you know your skills and then it becomes easier to answer why you have chosen the field.
Last but not the least, as the counselor swatisiba2003, rightly said, MBA is more about being able to manage the task at hand as well as manage people in your organization.So the stress is on how good is your managerial skills which includes your leadership and communication qualities in sync with the work knowledge.
before the interview, sit down and do a self introspection and be prepared well in advance. One question linked with another to be able to answer without fumbling is the key to success in an MBA interview.They do not look at How logical your answer is, but how well are you able to stand by your answer, your values adding upto your confidence.
