Hello My Dear,

Reading your query I jumped to answer that since you are an ideal candidate for a great career in construction and infrastructure industry. I appreciate your liking towards construction industry and the passion towards making a career in it by pursuing post graduation. I compliment you for taking the right decision to pursue post graduation.

I am glad that you approached the right platform of CareerGuide.com at the right time.

I understand that by pursuing MTech you are interested in technical field. Based on your experience I am sure you must have realised that in the construction industry its not just the technical part but also the managerial part which is also important for the business to grow and the project to get completed. Construction Technology and Management are too different things in which you want to do MTech.

But my dear, MTech will have 80% technical and 20% management.

I would like to tell you the fact that there is a shortage of 10 lakh construction project management professionals in the infrastructure and construction industry. Here MTech is not the requirement but the requirement is of people who are trained in construction project management from the business and management angle and not the technical angle.

I would like you to strongly go for full time post graduate courses which teach you Construction Project Management by management and business angle and the only Institute in India which is considered as India's Only Dedicated Construction B-School can give you this is Samvit School of Infrastructure Business, located at Pune.

Samvit has been founded by Former Director of SIBM Pune, Dr. Arun Mudbidri and already two batches have passed out. The admission for the fourth batch is currently open and you can apply online.

You can download the Prospectus which will have the course structure of the PGDIB course. Looking at the course structure I am sure you will be impressed by the contents and what the course will make you as a professional.

Please do think about it.

Do get back to me for queries about this, if any.

Best Luck.
