Which stream are you pursuing in class 12th?.
Please note someone with a math subject background can opt for either B.SC IT or a BCA course.
A B.SC IT course will enhance your knowledge in the field of hardware, systems and its properties.Whereas a course in BCA would equip you with knowledge related to both hardware and software functioning and its application. You could choose any.
Please note admission to B.SC IT is through merit or percentage scored whereas BCA requires students to clear an entrance exam.

Your interest in computer hardware field after 12th is nice. Hope you are sure that you do not wish to be into the software domain. However as a matter of advice, I would not suggest you to stick to just hardware. Later if you have in your mind to get into your own business firm for hardware, then your decision is fine.
For Computer Hardware related field and career, after 12th, you can choose Diploma courses in Hardware and Networking from premier institutes like NIIT, Aptech, Seed Infotech, etc. There are advanced Diplomas also available later.
You may also choose BSc IT course which is a bachelors degree course. Becoming a graduate is recommended. Later you may choose core hardware technical courses.
