Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), formerly known as the University of Missouri-Rolla, is a public research university located in Rolla, Missouri. Founded in 1870 as the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, it is the state’s oldest and largest technological institution. Missouri S&T is a member of the University of Missouri System.
