Eligibility Criteria

AP EAMCET 2024 (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical fields offered by various colleges and universities in Telangana state. The eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET 2023 are as follows:

Nationality: The candidate must be of Indian nationality or a PIO/OCI cardholder.

Domicile: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per the guidelines of the respective state governments.

Age Limit: The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December 2023. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications:

For Engineering courses: The candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The minimum qualifying percentage is 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).

For Agriculture and Medical courses: The candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as compulsory subjects. The minimum qualifying percentage is 45% (40% for reserved category candidates).

Qualifying Examination: The candidate must have qualified in TS EAMCET 2023 or JEE Main 2023 or NEET UG 2023 as per the course opted.

The eligibility criteria for AP EAMCET 2024.

1. B.V.Sc. and A.H, B.Sc. (Horticulture), and BFSc Courses:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12th or its equivalent exam with relevant subjects.

2. Engineering and B.Sc. (Agriculture Engineering) Course:

  • Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution can apply.
  • Passed candidates in class 12th or equivalent with subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or related vocational courses) can apply.
  • General category candidates need at least 45% marks, while reserved category candidates need 40% marks.
  • Minimum age of 16 years at the time of admission.
  • Appearing candidates in the qualifying exam are also eligible.

3. Pharma-D Course:

  • Passed class 12th or equivalent with optional subjects like Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Candidates with a Diploma in Pharmacy are also eligible.
  • General category candidates need 45%, and reserved category candidates need 40% in the aggregate of specified subjects.
  • Appearing candidates in the qualifying exam can also apply.

4. B.Pharm Course:
