Face Your Circumstances and Rise Stronger
Susan Pierotti wanted to play violin from a very early age. She had years of lessons, won competitions, went for music camps, and ended up freelancing for nine years and then getting a top job in an orchestra for another 23 years. However, with the global financial crisis, the world of Classical music became toxic with fear of getting crumpled down. The death of major sponsors and changes in management personnel also led to further deteriorating of the already worsening situation in the world of Classical music. Under such circumstances, she was forced to look for other avenues for herself to pay bills. On reflecting upon herself, she realized that she had excellent grammar and spelling skills. She always has been an avid reader. Working from home was the thing she was perfectly comfortable with, as she enjoyed nothing more than her own company. Therefore, she began editing and proofreading books. She also developed a business that offered written materials like blogs, newsletters, brochures, etc. to small businesses.
