Dear friend, 5yrs Gap after B Tech : 3 years of gap after B Tech As you are saying you have 4 years gap after b tech but i do not know the reason for the gap that you took post your B.tech etc. but with the information that you have provided here, all i can suggest is that there are two ways in which you can deal with the situation at hand - EITHER you stick to this field, work upon it to get back on the track and improve your career OR you change your field and start a fresh. 5 years of gap after B Tech

If you wish to stick to this field then first of all get yourself a good internship. Get as much as experience you can Work for few months, polish your skills, learn more new skill as much as you can because learning new skill is a great thing because it will help to turn your internship in job offer and revise your subjects and simultaneously make your resume and apply for jobs and try to do networking through linkdin because it will help you to get internship or job very easily . If you want to change your field then you will have to make a list of different fields that interests you, filter the suitable options and look for the courses associated with them and get enrolled for the most suitable one. There are many diploma and short term courses that you can shortlist once you decide on if you want to stick or not stick to the same field of your education.
