Hello Apurv,

If you want to make your career in the field of lectureship or research then only National Eligibility Test is enough, there is no need to do M.ed.

To take the UGC NET exam, you required only Master's degree with 55% (for General Category) or 50% (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders).

National Testing Agency conducts the NET exam twice in a year in the month of June and December. The next upcoming NTA NET exam will be organized in the month of December. NTA will start the UGC NET online application process in August 2019.

So, here is a golden chance for you to apply for the exam.

After qualifying the NTA NET 2019 exam, you are not only become Assistant Professor or JRF but you can also get the various career options.

Such as - You can become a consultant/writer/trainer to students/program executive/IP Lead/Guest Faculty/Lab Trainer, get jobs in PSUs and Government authorities.
