Before applying for UGC NET exam, you must check out the all criteria of eligibility which is set by the National Testing Agency.
Aspirants must have post graduation degree or are enrolled in the Masters' degree.
If you appear for Junior Research Fellowship, your age must be less than or equal to 30 years(For General Category). Reserved categories or women aspirants get relaxation of 5 years in age criteria.
If you want to appear for UGC NET Assistant Professor then there is no need to follow the above mentioned age criteria. Because there is no age limit for lectureship.
UGC NET is organized by NTA twice in a year in the month of June and December. The application process for June session has been ended. So, you can appear for the December session. The registration process will be started in the September month.

Yes, You can apply for UGC NET Exam for 2021. The Age limit for NET Exam is 30 Years and should be done at least for masters. There are no minimum age restrictions to apply NET exam.
