Dear Friend,

Greetings of the day!!!!

Stream or Subject selection in class XI is one of the most important decision in any Student life. Many times the decision we take in class XI would have a life long impact

Selection of Stream should be done based on your interest but the same can be done by following steps as mentioned below

1) Subject : which subject you like most , Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Humanities or Commerce

2) Logic : if you are a person who would like to know the logic and reason behind your studies than science would be a option

3) Strength :if you are good in learning then you can think for medical

4) Step in : You should consult different person in and around you from various field to understand their life style and job expectations

Answering for the second part of your question, if you want to get in to Engineering or Non Medical the qualities which you would need would be to have a analytic ability of understanding. you would also be having a interest in machines and its functioning. On the subject side you should like Maths and have good understanding of subject to excel on the studies of Engineering. For any stream of Engineering you should have good understanding and interest in your field.

The bottom line is you should take your own decision since you are the best person to know yourself.

Wish you all the very best !!!
