I am a b tech IT graduate and have 1 1/2 yrs exp as a sap consultant.i would like to change my track and wondering what would be the best choice for me and also i would like to explore if there is comfortable zone for me in IT field itself

I am 25. though I have experience in SAP I could not excel coz I am not good in programming and dont enjoy doing it. my ultimate aim in life is to do a innovative business.but till i encounter such an option and idea I would like to work on my interest areas. my interest areas would be to become a pilot / interior design and to be frank wen i say i wanna work also i only think about business.but still i need to work until i find an opurtunity to start a business. so i woulk like to explore the options in working on my interest and then decide on it.I am also open to do masters in science but only if the job profile that it would give me would be of my comfort zone.

Hi Nagasri, Hope you are doing well. Hope your career counseling session was informative and satisfactory

. Career planning is arduous and challenging task. Here are some tips to help you plan your career. Know Yourself: Begin by a self-reflection. Understand your strengths, weaknesses, interests, values, abilities, and aptitude. Take advice from a Career Counselor whenever you are in doubt. Explore Careers: When it comes to pursuing a career, students only think of engineering, medicine, information technology, accounts and finance as their options. But there are several other career options that one can pursue to build a successful career. Explore all your available options and understand if working in that career interests you. Research Careers: Once you decide your career options, undergo a detailed research on them. Try to understand what that career offers. You should find answers to the following question while researching a particular career. What will be my day-to-day activities at work?, Do I have the qualities required to work in this field?, What courses I need to study?, What are my job avenues?, How much will I earn?. Talk to Industry Experts: Talk to industry experts who are already working in that field. The more you talk to related experienced industry people, the better your career decision will be. Ask them about their likes and dislikes about that career and ways to get into that field. Decide on a Career: Once you have completed your extensive research, narrow down your options, and decide on one most preferred career choice. By this stage, you should have an idea of what you need to do next for achieving your goals. Take Necessary Action: Develop an action plan and take necessary steps to achieve your goal. If required, pursue training or higher studies for that particular profession. Develop a job strategy, create a resume, and prepare for your job interview. Thus, career planning gives you the power to make your own decisions and create your own career path. Best Wishes on your Career Journey!!!
