If you are an engineering graduate then you should target those companies that aligned to your domain skills. Like for example; if you are a Computer Science or IT Engineer; you should target the IT companies.
Are you a MBA from a premier institution? If yes; then your Degree does not matter much.
If not; you may not get a Marketing Manager position on the basis of your Engineering degree itself. You might get an opportunity as a Business Development Executive. After a couple of years of work experience; you should do your MBA from a premier B-school. This will help you become a Marketing Manager. Getting this is also very important for your growth in your career.
