MHT CET  Maharashtra Common Entrance Test,   is the entrance exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in various colleges in Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. There are more than 400 institutes in Maharashtra which accept scores for admission to their various Engineering and Pharmacy courses. Candidates belonging to Maharashtra as well as from the other states of India can apply for the  exam.

MHT CET Application Form

 

To apply for the MHT CET 2023, candidates need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official  website and create an account using a valid email address.
  2. Once you have created an account, log in and click on the “Apply for ” button.
  3. Fill out the online application form with your personal details, educational background, contact information, and other relevant information.
  4. Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
  5. Pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or net banking.
  6. Once you have completed all of the steps above, your  application will be complete

The latest notification for the MHT  2023 exam was released on August 1, 2023. The notification includes important information about the exam, such as the dates, eligibility criteria, application process, and exam pattern.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Age: There is no age limit for the  2023 exam.
  • Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their HSC examination.

Candidates who are appearing for the HSC examination in 2023 are also eligible to apply for the  exam. However, they will need to submit their HSC results as soon as they are available.
