What is the NDA exam about?

who can apply?
There are certain eligibility criteria regarding application for NDA. Some of them are mentioned below:
- Age limit- Candidates should be older than 15 years and less than 18 years. Only unmarried males can apply for the examination
- Females and married males are not allowed to apply for the examination.
- Education qualification differs according to academics.
Army wing- must have passed class 12th or HSC or equivalent from any recognized board or University.
Navy wing- 12th or HSC with physics and Mathematics.
- Candidates must be citizens of India or should have an Indian citizenship certificate.
- Candidates should be physically fit and should have ideal height.
How will you get Selected?
The selection procedure is a long one. The process is as follows-
- Online application: you have to apply for the examination online from the official website link.
- After successfully applying, one should wait for the release of admit card. Once the admit card is released one can download it from the official website.
- Written exam: this is conducted in two phases namely, the mathematics part and the general ability test part. The exam is 900 marks and if you get the minimum qualifying marks, you will be called for the SSB interview round.
- SSB Interview: this is the final selection round and conducted for intelligence and personality test.
