How to Check the UPSC Result 2023?

Once the UPSC result 2023 is declared, you can check it by following these steps:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC: www.upsc.gov.in
  • Look for the ‘Examination’ tab and click on it.
  • From the drop-down menu, select the exam you appeared for (e.g., Civil Services Examination).
  • Click on the ‘Results’ link.
  • Find the link for ‘UPSC 2023 Result’ and click on it.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen in a PDF format.
  • Use the ‘Ctrl+F’ function to search for your name or roll number in the list.
  • If your name or roll number is there in the list, it means you have qualified for the exam.
  • Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

UPSC Result 2022

UPSC is currently conducting the Civil Service interviews, which are expected to continue until May 18. By May 25, the Commission is expected to release the UPSC 2022 result. The Commission has already selected 2,485 candidates for the personality test, and the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates were released in two distinct PDFs separately. It is anticipated that the UPSC result 2022-23 will be released in March 2023, with the Commission publishing the UPSC merit list, which will mention the names and roll numbers of the qualified candidates. 

These candidates will then be recommended to the Ministry of Personnel for further formalities. The Ministry of External Affairs will have the first chance to select the candidates for the Indian Foreign Services (IFS), followed by other ministries. The UPSC prelims result 2022 was released online on June 22, 2022. It is noteworthy that this is the first time when the result was released in such a short span of time. The UPSC prelims 2022 exam was conducted on June 5 in offline mode across the nation. The candidates who scored higher or equal to the UPSC prelims cutoff were declared qualified for the main exam.

UPSC Result 2021

The UPSC Result 2021 was declared on September 24, 2021, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Commission conducted the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2020, which consists of three stages, namely, the preliminary examination, main examination, and interview.

The UPSC CSE 2020 Preliminary Examination was held on October 4, 2020, while the Main Examination was conducted from January 8 to 17, 2021. The interviews for the qualified candidates were held from August 2 to September 22, 2021.

The UPSC Result 2021 includes the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the appointment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and other central services under Group A and Group B.

A total of 761 candidates have been recommended for appointment, including 545 men and 216 women. The top rank has been secured by Shubham Kumar, while Jagrati Awasthi has secured the second position, and Ankita Jain has secured the third position in the UPSC CSE 2020. The Commission has also released the marks of the recommended candidates on its official website.

UPSC Toppers List

The UPSC Toppers List 2021 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) along with the declaration of the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2020 results on September 24, 2021. Here are the top three rank holders of UPSC CSE 2020:

Shubham Kumar, the topper of UPSC CSE 2020, is a graduate in civil engineering from IIT Bombay. He hails from Katihar, Bihar, and has secured the first rank in his fourth attempt. He has also worked with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways before clearing the exam.

Jagrati Awasthi, the second topper, is an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur graduate and hails from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She has secured the second rank in her second attempt.

Ankita Jain, the third topper, is a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Delhi Technological University. She hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan, and has secured the third rank in her first attempt.
