Extensive training:

After the basic training is over, you are sent for extensive training in the Indian military academy, which is in Dehradun. The training period is usually from 1-2 years, where you will be taught about real-life situations. During this period, you are taught about how to avoid the capture, infiltration and exfiltration, how to handle and what to do during an interrogation, how to use espionage devices and trained in Krav Maga, etc.

Joining and appointment:

After the rigorous training, you are finally eligible to become a RAW agent and handle any mission easily and smartly. Once you have completed your training you are fit for the mission and you can handle any real-life situation. If they wish to, the civil servants or armed personnel’s can even join their earlier jobs once they complete a mission. They can even stay in RAW permanently, it is completely their choice.
