To become a psychologist to need to have graduation with psychology as one of of the subjects and master's in psychology.After that you can start working under some renowned psychologist to gain some practical experience. Practically dealing the patients/clients to very important part of psychology. As the experience increases the independent work can be started. Mphil or Phd degree can be added to the qualification.Psychology is a broad field having may specialization. One can pick his/her choice of specialization like clinical, rehabilitation, counseling, child, educational, sports,social,industrial etcWork profile depends on the specialization one pick.One can work in hospitals, NGO's, rehab clinics, schools,corporate sector etc . One can start there own practice after gaining ample of experience. MA and Phd cant be done together. You don't need a science background to study psychology. Hope this helpsGood luck
