There are many companies in India that hire Psychologist. But most of the hiring depends on your specialization as well. it is not a simple process instead in the field of Psychology you will have to make your own mark. Most of the companies would require skilled and experienced Psychologist only and for a fresher it becomes all the more tough to find a job. But if you are experienced enough or say have an experience of at least 2 years your work is done.
Thanks for your query. There is no statistics available on how many companies hire psychologists. Usually , industrial psychologist work in corporates in Human Resource Managent, recruitment, training and development divisions.
Many psychologists work as independent consultant or managent coach with companies for recruitment or conduct assessment or conduct motivational trainingd.
Companies such as L&T, Birla, ABB hire psychology professionals. Industrial psychology professionals can work in any corporate houses.
