Hey Dear,

There are many companies in India that hire Psychologist. But most of the hiring depends on your specialization as well. it is not a simple process instead in the field of Psychology you will have to make your own mark. Most of the companies would require skilled and experienced Psychologist only and for a fresher it becomes all the more tough to find a job. But if you are experienced enough or say have an experience of at least 2 years your work is done.

I suppose with companies you must have a specialization in Organizational Behaviour (OB) or Industrial Psychology as it is mostly called. For people who have a specialization in this area can look for jobs of Trainers in the organizations or even in the Human Resource Department or the HR Department hire Industrial Psychologists. Many of the colleges offer placements as well these days. Its important to get good marks and be some of the toppers of your college.

If at all your college does not offer placements then you can try yourself as well. Look for the vacancies in some of the leading newspapers like Hindustan Times and Times of India and apply for the job if you full fill all the required norms and eligibility criteria.

You can even float your resumes in some of the job portals as well and look for the jobs in those sites as well.

See many things are dependent on you as well. How you approach a company or how your interview goes. Remember that many a time you will have to look for work and find your own way, opportunities are ample you just need to take advantage of it.

See many good companies requires Industrial Psychologist. You ca apply in Wipro, Tata etc... and see if it works for you. Start applying as soon as possible and see if there is vacancy.

I hope you will find your way. Do not forget to Work Hard.

Best Wishes!

Many psychologists work as independent consultant or managent coach with companies for recruitment or conduct assessment or conduct motivational trainingd.

Companies such as L&T, Birla, ABB hire psychology professionals. Industrial psychology professionals can work in any corporate houses.
