Good question asked. But this question can be answered by none other than you.
Both the fields require strong conceptual base in Math and Physics. Engineering stresses on Math and Physics, whereas medical focuses on Biology and Physics.
You would have to take a call based on whether machines and its process interests you or the human body and its functioning. In medical you need to also take into consideration your emotions in terms of seeing death, autopsy and blood.
Hope this helps. My advise to you here would be in 11th and 12th opt for PCMB so that both the options are open at your end.
