Human Resource Management involves dealing with people and their concerns pertaining to the organization that they work for. As per your query, it isn't clear as to what you mean by diversify.
However, the scope for a professional who has worked in HR Management is wide. You can take up Teaching as a profession with clearing NET/ SET exams and teach in college or University. There are few private coaching institutes too hire HR professionals for teaching Management course.
You can also be a free lancer teacher where Colleges/ Universities/Coaching Institutions hire you for a limited period.
You can start your own consultancy firm and provide outsourcing services to MNC's with most apt candidates for their jobs.
You can be Freelancer/ full time Trainer in any organization where you provide them need based training, help in performance appraisals.
