A student who has completed graduation from any recognized university with 50%(for General category)/ 45% (for reserved category) is eligible to pursue MBA course. You need to appear for and clear MBA entrance exam depending on the college/university. Following are few well known entrance exams conducted by top ranked institutes
CAT - Common Admission Test – For admission to IIM’s
XAT – Xavier Aptitute Test – For admission to XLRI
CMAT - Common Management Admission Test – For admission to all AICTE approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test - For admission to MBA programs in the Institutes affiliated with Symbiosis university's affiliated colleges
These tests include questions that are based on various factors like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Interpretation Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
Hence, a student who has completed diploma course is not eligible for MBA course. However, a student who has completed degree in aura management from a recognized university with the said percentage criteria is eligible for MBA course. You can even appear for the entrance in the final year of graduation and later present the mark sheet.
