The primary aim for the flight attendants is to see that the passengers are comfortable for which an amicable nature is a must. A dulcet voice and a good appearance are the key things for an Air Hostess. Presenting yourself to the passengers with the best behavioral skills reflects out the personality which helps the passengers to be care-free and have a great time in the flight.

Good communication skills are essential for convincing the passengers. So, fluency in English, Hindi is must and if plan to go abroad basic foreign should be known by you so that you can know what the passenger need. Lack of communication between the flight attendant and the passenger can be very disturbing for the passengers.
Flying 30000 feet above the ground can sometimes be risky due to any malfunctioning because after all, it’s a machine and machines has their loop-holes. It’s the air hostess’s presence of mind how to tackle the situation because on one hand you have to make the passengers calm and guide them with all the instructions required and on the other hand she has to fix the problem or contact her super officials to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
The cabin crew consists of 12-14 members. As no two persons can always get along, but that is no place to show off your skills, because behind you are the lives of several passengers who boarded the flight with the belief that they are being taken care of. So working as a team really helps. Be amicable with your crew members, also help each other.
Changes in the weather have really disrupted the schedules of the flights. Flights get delayed very often. So, if you’re on a flight and the landing is being delayed you have to work sometimes at least for 3-4 hours extra Keeping the decorum of the flight normal by making the passengers comfortable. Weather is always unpredictable so you should always be prepared for working long hours.

Keeping the passengers in comfortable place, you sometimes have to deal with all sorts nature of the passengers. So a positive attitude does help in keeping yourself calm and helps you deal with the situation accordingly.
