Dear career aspirant,

Welcome to meracareerguide

I am really glad to answer this question. Being a PhD in Psychology and career guide I take special interest in resume preparation. Resume is supposed to be a self assessment, true attributes and aspirations of the aspirant and there fore should never consist false statements. I hope you already know the difference between biodata and resume. If you search internet, you shall come across numerous types of resumes at various designs. You can take guidelines from those and prepare one resume yourself. Therefore, I am not venturing into the details of how to prepare a resume, but I wish to high light the key things to be included into a psychologist's resume.

1. All your qualifications from 10th onwards. Always include major subject of study and always mention the marks scored in major subjects.

2. Experience as psychologist or in psychology field should be highlighted.

3. Key skills and expertise. The key skill of any psychologist is supposed to understand the behavior of others. Negotiation skills, persuation skills, public dealing etc holds good value. Skills should be chosen carefully. You shall never lie here. Therefore, please take a psychometric test which shall reveal your abilities and include them in your resume.

4. Include all your extra curricular activities, hobbies etc.

5. Include books written, papers presented, lectures delivered, research topics, awards won etc.

Be truthful to yourself and to the employers.
God bless you.
Good luck.
