Choosing a stream is extremely essential and one of the crucial decisions to shape up your career.
Only advise I would give here is that do not choose a stream based on your percentage, family or friends.
Choose on the basis of what interests you and where you would like to work after years.
Ideally Self introspection as to what is your likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses etc also whether you would like to make your hobby your career is essentially.
Here I would suggest, an Aptitude test or popularly called "Career Counseling" is essential. The test will help reveal your abilities and Aptitude and will help make a confirmed choice.
