Firstly choose a course followed by the Institutes that offers the course. Then scan through the eligibility criteria, ie if there is an entrance exam or admission based on merit. If entrance exam then prepare accordingly.

If medical is your dream, try till the last limit.
And still if you do not secure admission, then keeping in mind, your interest in medical, I would suggest, either a BDS or any other field in medical like BAMS or BHMS.
Other courses are linked with medical, but as such wont give you the title of DR.
