Mechanical Engineer - Career Queries

Hey Sanna.. Please find a good institution for your MTech course like SRM, Lovely Professional University, Manav Rachna etc and be a specialist in your field. You have an option to go for PhD, or you will also find good companies to work with through campus placements. Some of the institutes are giving an opportunity to work with leading companies.

Hi Aman, Any University in US requires good score (above 85%) throughout till Engineering. They need a good academic background. Also they need a very high score of GRE to be considered for a scholarship. Also if you have done some good research at a UG level, your chances become great. Best wishes, Himanshu

Take a multi-pronged approach: 1. Apply through all the job portals. 2. Talk to the people in your network for a help and do a regular follow up with them. 3. Apply speculatively whether there is a requirement or not. 4. Have patience. 5. Keep all these 4 things in your mind and you will get a good job in 2-3 months.
